Robert Dee
With over two decades of experience in the media and film industry, my journey began in post-production, then expanded into advertising, and now, I create my own films and teach the art of filmmaking. My academic journey includes both a Degree and a Masters in filmmaking, and I am currently researching for a practice-based PhD focusing on visual subtext. I had the privilege of running the Undergraduate Programme in Filmmaking at Raindance Film School in London for several years, where I guided many talented students. Some have gone on to direct multi-million dollar campaign films, star in feature films, win prestigious festival awards, and further their studies at top-tier film schools in the United States.

My teaching philosophy centers on the psychology of filmmaking and how directors can create meaning and emotion through visual subtext and cinematic language.
