What IS this all about?
The focus at Cinevisionary is on the art of filmmaking, not just the technique.
You want money from investors? You want people to watch your films? You need to find your voice. That means learning to speak cinematically as a director. That, alone, is what is stopping you getting what you want.
WHAT WILL I GET OUT OF IT?
You’ll learn how to develop your cinematic language. You’ll learn how to speak like pro director’s do. That’s what we provide here. Inspiration, advice and techniques on how to become a fully-rounded filmmaker with work that speaks to people. The mission here is to help talented directors turn into pros. The site will include a mix of free content (blog posts, taster courses) and premium (yet reasonably priced) learning materials along with regular in-person workshops in the UK.
Who the hell are you?
I’m a filmmaker and film lecturer with 20+ years experience. I’ve directed award winning films and mentored students who have gone on to make £2,000,000 budget films and develop their voices. My journey, like yours, is unique. I love film. I love to help other filmmakers. That’s why I do this.
